Legacy Giving – Where Legacies Flourish

The Judean Club honors those individuals who have created a lasting legacy by including the Louis S. Wolk Jewish Community Center of Greater Rochester, or one of its programs, in gift and estate plans. The CSL Legacy Society honors those individuals who have created a lasting legacy designated to Camp Seneca Lake, in gift and estate plans.

Planned giving can help you provide for your family while ensuring that the JCC continues to flourish as a vibrant center for Jewish values and community life. There are many ways to leave a legacy:

NAMED LEGACY FUNDS – With a gift of $10,000 you can honor or memorialize a loved one or a special occasion in a personally meaningful way. As your contribution continues to grow through prudent reinvestment, you choose the programs you care most about to receive your Fund's annual distributions.

BEQUESTS – Including the JCC as a beneficiary of your will, trust or codicil allows you to retain your assets and benefit from tax advantages.

LIFE INSURANCE GIFTS – You can receive substantial tax benefits by contributing an insurance policy or naming the JCC as the beneficiary.

RETIREMENT PLAN GIFTS – Government taxes on retirement plan bequests to heirs can wipe out much of your precious savings. Consider a gift of your IRA, Keogh, 401(k) or 403(b) to preserve your assets and minimize tax consequences.
