Massage Therapy

Massage Therapy involves the manipulation of the soft tissues of the body for therapeutic effect. Our nationally certified therapists employ a wide range of hands-on techniques which can help to reduce and prevent stress and tension as well as to ease discomfort of injuries or chronic conditions. Massage is helpful in the treatment of headaches, back and neck pain, athletic injuries, bursitis, sciatica, tendonitis, arthritis, fibromyalgia, face and jaw syndrome (TMJ), insomnia and cleansing the body of toxins.

Swedish Massage

Light to medium pressure helps to relieve stress, reduce pain, boost mood and promote relaxation. Primary goal of Swedish massage is to relax the entire body.

Deep Tissue (Sports)

Deep tissue massage is meant to work superficial all the way to deep muscles. The deeper pressure helps to release chronic muscle tension. Deep tissue massage is ideal for those who suffer from chronic pain and limited mobility due to athletic training.

Chair Massage

Works specifically on the back, neck and shoulders while you are fully clothed. Located in the hallway outside the Women's Spa.

Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral therapy (CST) can address tension patterns & dysfunctions that aren't responding to other methods of treatment or exercise. It relaxes the unconscious holding that's responsible for our resting state, thus 'unhooking' our chronic tensions and broadening our repertoire of response & action..

Myofascial Release or Reiki

Myofascial Release is a very specific stretching technique applied to the fascia (muscle coverings), muscles and other soft tissues for the purpose of:

  • restoring or enhancing normal mobility
  • increasing flexibility
  • reducing pain
  • improving function.

Reiki is the Japanese Art of relaxation and healing. Be guided into a deeply relaxed state. The practitioner uses light touch to provide a positive, comfortable experience. The session is a wonderful way to promote over all well being & find much needed stress relief! After a session, people report feeling at peace and many notice a shift in the way they feel emotionally, mentally, or physically.
