Summer Basketball! Get your friends together and come to the JCC for some summer hoops! Each team will consist of 5 or 6 players, and play games 4 on 4. The first week will be for creating teams and scrimmaging and the final 2 weeks will be double elimination playoffs! Each player will receive a team shirt and special awards will be issued at the end of the playoffs. Spread the news, there is summer basketball at the JCC!
This clinic is intended for older children and teens of all fencing levels. Those who have little to no fencing experience will be introduced to the modern sport of competitive fencing in a fun and safe way, while intermediate/advanced fencers looking to improve their competitive results will learn advanced tactics, techniques, and footwork. Please arrive 15 early to change into fencing gear.
Nat Goodhartz- Certified Fencing Master, has a PhD in Exercise Physiology and is a member of the US Fencing Association Hall of Fame
Jean-Raynaud Lao-Kan- Fencing Coaching Degree from the French Fencing School and Master's Degree in Sports Science.
Do you want to play basketball this summer? Join our Teen Basketball League consisting of 2 games/week plus playoffs. Players will be receiving team shirts and awards will be issued at the end of tournament. Bring your own team in to the JCC or sign up and we will match you up on a team during the 1st week! Each team will consist of 5 or 6 players. Yes, we are accepting both full teams and individuals! Spread the word teen's and let's create a fun league that you can get excited about!
Whether you are a beginner or have some experience, you will receive outstanding instruction that promotes an increase in individual skill development and team strategies. Coaches will motivate the athletes to challenge themselves while encouraging individual improvement and success. Coaches/Certified Trainers will teach conditioning, stretching, and sport specific exercises that are designed to help prevent injuries and increase physical performance.
