Lifeguard Re-certification

Lifeguard Training Recertification

Registrants must have already been lifeguard certified; this is not the full life guarding course.

Must be at least 15 years of age and pass the following swim test: Swim 300 yards continuously, using the following strokes: 100 yards front crawl using rhythmic breathing, 100 yards of breaststroke, 100 yards of either breaststroke or front crawl. Must also be able to swim 20 yards, surface dive 7-10ft, retrieve, a 10-pound object, return to the surface and swim back 20 yards holding object with both hands. Must be able to display all CPR, First Aid and Lifeguard rescue skills.

Registrants must bring Lifeguard Training Manual and CPR mask to class. Participant will be recertified in life guarding, first aid, CPR and AED.
