Legacy Giving – Where Legacies Flourish

The Judean Club honors those individuals who have created a lasting legacy by including the JCC of Greater Rochester, or one of its programs, in gift and estate plans. The CSL Legacy Society honors those individuals who have created a lasting legacy designated to Camp Seneca Lake, in gift and estate plans.

Planned giving can help you provide for your family while ensuring that the JCC continues to flourish as a vibrant center for Jewish values and community life. There are many ways to leave a legacy:

NAMED LEGACY FUNDS – With a gift of $10,000 you can honor or memorialize a loved one or a special occasion in a personally meaningful way. As your contribution continues to grow through prudent reinvestment, you choose the programs you care most about to receive your Fund's annual distributions.

BEQUESTS – Including the JCC as a beneficiary of your will, trust or codicil allows you to retain your assets and benefit from tax advantages.

LIFE INSURANCE GIFTS – You can receive substantial tax benefits by contributing an insurance policy or naming the JCC as the beneficiary.

RETIREMENT PLAN GIFTS – Government taxes on retirement plan bequests to heirs can wipe out much of your precious savings. Consider a gift of your IRA, Keogh, 401(k) or 403(b) to preserve your assets and minimize tax consequences.
