
Intro to Mixed Martial Arts for Adults and Teens Must 14 years or older to register Instructors: David Kalish and Mike Palmer, both hold Black Belts in Karate and Jujitsu and have a combined total of nearly fifty years experience in Martial Arts.

Come learn the basics of MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) in a fast paced, challenging, safe and intensely fun class. In this six week course, you will learn how professional Mixed Martial Artists get in fighting shape as well as the basics of Striking, Grappling, Positioning and of course Submissions. If you are a fan of the UFC or MMA, this course will give you a much better understanding of why Mixed Martial Arts is on a meteoric rise in popularity.

A workshop for young people with ADD, ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Asperger’s, High Functioning Autism, Bipolar, Tourette's and Neurotypical friends and family!
Participants make friends and learn social skills while playing east and humorous theater games designed to enhance focus and impulse control, flexibility, creativity, cooperation and emotional expression. Develop social-thinking skills in a supportive and nurturing workshop. Instructor Carol Roberts, MA is a former standup comic and comedy improviser and has been using this method with students at Rochester's Norman Howard School and with private psychologists.
Open to kids in grades 5-12 and adults.
