A community partnership between Jewish Family Service (JFS), the Jewish Community Center (JCC), the Jewish Home (JHR) and the Jewish Community Federation (JCF), the program provides a coordinated continuum of services for seniors and their families. A single phone number, 697-3030, provides access to transportation, information and referrals, and a community-based social worker.
Transportation: Call (585) 697-3030 for transportation needs. Both bus service and JFS Express will be utilized to transport seniors, depending on the program and the seniors' needs. Discount coupon books for transportation may be purchased at the JCC or JFS.
Information and Referral: Call (585) 697-3030 to access information and referral about services and programs for seniors and their families in Rochester and elsewhere. A social worker is available for consultation at various locations throughout the community. She will be at the JCC on Thursday mornings. Check in the Senior Adult Office for more information.
