Feeling stressed out? Tight or sore? Out of sorts or unbalanced? Working too hard? Treat yourself to a healing arts session! Healing arts are an important and integral component of health and wellness. More than a luxury, these sessions will soothe away the stress and strain of everyday living. Our skilled therapists bring a wealth of training and life experience and all modalities are designed to cultivate deep relaxation and balance.

MASSAGE THERAPY
Massage involves the manipulation of the soft tissues of the body for therapeutic effect. Our nationally certified therapists employ a wide range of hands-on techniques which can help to reduce and prevent stress and tension as well as to ease discomfort of injuries or chronic conditions. Massage is helpful in the treatment of headaches, back and neck pain, athletic injuries, bursitis, sciatica, tendonitis, arthritis, fibromyalgia, face and jaw syndrome (TMJ), insomnia and cleansing the body of toxins.

ENERGY WORK
Reiki
An ancient hands-on healing technique. Reiki (pronounced RAY-key), infuses the body with a concentrated amount of vital life force energy, helping to restore balance and harmony on all levels: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Recipient relaxes on a massage table, fully clothed, while therapist places her hands gently and lightly on the body. Recipient feels warmth, comfort and relaxation.

JCC Rochester NY energy work Craniosacral Therapy
Using light pressure and gentle traction of the cranial bones and sacrum, the therapist helps to improve the functioning of the central nervous system by locating and releasing restrictions and imbalances in the craniosacral system. This helps to encourage, support and enhance the body's natural healing processes.

Myofascial Release
Myofascial Release is a very specific stretching technique applied to the fascia (muscle coverings), muscles and other soft tissues for the purpose of:
