The addition of buoyancy and water resistance in an exercise regimen. You will be taught proper technique, variation of movement and endurance training. For everyone comfortable in deep water with the assistance of a floation belt

A full hour of water exercise set to music. 40 minutes of non-stop aquaerobics using water to provide resistance. The last 20 minutes of dance for a unique blend of aerobics and dance in the water

SilverSplash®
LOTS of fun in shallow water to improve agility, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance. A SilverSneakers® kickboard is used to develop strength, balance and coordination.

Senior Water Exercise
This low impact workout will challenge those who need to get into shape, have arthritis, or have had joint problems. This class incorporates low cardio, muscle toning, strengthening and balance work.

Taught by a certified Arthritis instructor, this class is ideal for anyone suffering from range of motion or flexibility problems.

Lifeguard Training
Two Saturdays, March 17 & 24, 8am-5pm
Location: Pool

Must be at least 15 years of age and pass the following swim test: Swim 300 yards continuously, using the following strokes: 100 yards front crawl using rhythmic breathing, 100 yards of breaststroke, 100 yards of either breaststroke or front crawl. Must also be able to swim 20 yards, surface dive 7-10ft, retrieve, a 10-pound object, return to the surface and swim back 20 yards holding object with both hands.
Registrants must purchase Lifeguard Training Manual and CPR mask at the Red Cross. All reading must be done before the start of class.
Min. 6 max 10.
